Nutrient management planning is a hot topic and will be getting even hotter.  Whether you're a livestock or crop producer, a consultant, or a dealer, you'll find this workshop critical to your business.   Scott Murrell, Northcentral Director, PPI, will start the program by showing the importance of being pro-active.  The workshop will give you the opportunity to gain a real perspective on the nutrient management issue.  Hear about NRCS nutrient policy first hand.  Discover the phosphorus and nitrogen idices and how they can imprve your management.  Learn how to use soil survey information to create better plans.   Understand what a soil test means for managing risk.  Figure out where best to put that first load of manure.  Delve into accounting for field variability.   Pick the brain of one of the nation's top agronomists, Lance Murrell, who has a long history of practical approaches to nutrient management, both site-specific and traditional.
