An advisory group of leaders in agribusiness interests will discuss service business considerations for retailers, consultants and others, during this program track being organized under the leadership of Ron Olson, Royster-Clark, Inc.  With the fast changing effects of new technology, dealers and industry representatives must be in step with the expectations of farmer-customers.   Speakers at the business opportunities sessions during InfoAg99 will each respond to a series of key questions from their own experience as successful farmers, consultants, or fertilizer/ag chemical retailers.

  • What is your vision of precision agriculture and how did you shape that vision?
  • What first steps did you take in precision agriculture?
  • How have you integrated precision agriculture systems into your business?
  • How has precision agriculture affected how you recruit and train personnel?
  • How have you grown your business using precision ag technology?
  • How do you look ahead?  See the future?
